The Samsung’s Galaxy S4 has been the most predictable smart phone of this year. Galaxy S4 following its successful forerunners, is undoubtedly the best smart phone from Korean manufacturer. However, it is not spotless and it has strong rivalry within the family itself. Surveyors and industry experts have admired the phone for its software and hardware component, but also have criticized for its lack of intelligence, in terms of build and design quality. With this though, gradually the focus is moving towards Galaxy Note III, which is Samsung’s flagship upcoming device.
Experts and Samsung aficionados have pretty high hopes from Note III. Do you think, Note III will surpass these high expectations and feature new technologies and software other than that are shown in Galaxy S4? Well, we can get this certainty only after the official announcement from the manufacturer concerning the Galaxy Note III.
However, like every anticipated smart phones release, rumors and leaks have already created an interest in our minds to know more about the handset and its features.
When it comes to display panel, it is quite obvious that Note III will have a bigger screen as compare to it counterpart, it is expected to have 6.3 inch full HD Super AMOLED screen. The younger sibling S4 comes with the display of 5.0 inch Super AMOLED.
Galaxy S4 indeed, is the most powerful gadget in the market at present. Apparently, Note III is also expected to overpower its sibling nearly in every aspect.
In terms of Hardware, Note 3 is expected to have 2.0 GHz Exynos 5 Octa Core, which is made by combining two quad core chips – 1.6 GHz Cortex A15 & 1.2 GHz Cortex A7. In addition this CPU pack will be supposedly associated with Mali 450 GPU.
Whereas Samsung Galaxy S4 is marketed in 2 different versions – one with 1.9 GHz Quad Core processor & Adreno 320 GPU and other with 1.6 GHz octa-core processor & PowerVR SGX 544MP3 GPU.
When it comes to photography, Note III gives you a superior experience as compared to Galaxy S4. It has 16 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash and Autofocus and 3.0 mega pixels of front camera while Galaxy S4 sports 13 MP primary camera with autofocus and LED flash and also 2.0 mega pixels sensor in front.
Storage and RAM
As far as storage is concerned, Samsung Galaxy S4 is currently available with 16 GB internal memory. However, as per the recent update Samsung is planning to launch S4 device with 32 GB internal storage as well in the near future.
As for Note III, we can expect 32 GB of internal storage. Both handsets will have a capability to increase their storage capacity up to 64 GB via Micro SD expansion slot.
Galaxy S4 and Note III might have equal configuration in terms of RAM support (2 GB).
In General, Galaxy Note III is expected to be well equipped and more powerful as compared to Galaxy S4. Nevertheless, the most important concern is up to what extent Note III will surpass S4’s specifications. If the forthcoming phablet will not outstand in terms of design and build quality then Samsung might lose the ground. The company is expecting to release Note 3 around September of this year.
